Job Description

This dealership body shop in Ballito needs body repair skills that pass the insurer's quality check. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

You'll report in Ballito. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Mask up vehicles properly to keep overspray off glass and trim
Photograph repair stages for the insurance assessor
Repair dents with hammers, dollies and a stud welder
Spray base coat and 2K clear coat in the booth
Strip damaged panels, bumpers and trims and bag the fixings

You'll need

Able to work to insurer repair times and quality standards
Experience with modern waterborne or high-solids paint systems
Good colour vision and a steady hand
Knowledge of spray booth safety and respirator use
Panel beating or spray painting trade test, or at least 4 years of proven work
Physically able to stand, bend and kneel for long periods
