Job Description

Quick hands and good eyes are all an export fruit packhouse near Mamelodi really needs from you. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

The work is in Mamelodi, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What your day looks like

Stack empty cartons and punnets ready for the next run
Help clean the line and machines at the end of the day
Sort fruit by size, colour and blemish on the packing line
Keep your packing station clean and free of stems and leaves
Check fruit samples and record quality results on the QC sheet

You'll need

Basic counting and reading for labels
Available for the full packing season including Saturdays
Quick and neat with your hands
Valid ID or permit

What you get

Rehire for next season if you perform well
Transport from nearby towns
Overtime pay during peak weeks
