Parts Interpreter (Counter & Workshop) – Experienced

You'll be the link between customers and the workshop at the motorcycle dealership in Soweto. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

Home base is a motorcycle dealership on the Soweto side of Gauteng. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Invoice completed jobs and explain the invoice at collection
• Submit warranty claims with photos and technician reports
• Phone customers with extra work found and get approval in writing
• Count stock during cycle counts and year-end stocktake
• Look up part numbers in the electronic parts catalogue using the VIN
• Handle complaints calmly and find a fix with the workshop manager

• Code 08 licence
• Accurate when capturing part numbers and prices
• Good working knowledge of car parts and basic vehicle systems
• At least 2 years as a service advisor, parts interpreter or in a similar counter role
• Calm and polite with customers, even when they are upset

• Experience in a customer satisfaction survey-driven dealership
• Some mechanical training or a trade background

• Monthly CSI bonus for customer ratings
• Commission on parts sales or workshop turnover
• Paid brand training
• Company uniform
