Patrol Officer (Warehouse Perimeter)

Steady 12-hour shifts at an industrial park in Midrand for PSIRA-registered officers. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

You'll report in Midrand. Relocation is not covered for this one. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
• Watch for loitering, broken fencing and open doors during night patrols
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Keep the guardhouse clean and the OB up to date for the relieving officer
• Open and close boom gates for residents, deliveries and contractors

• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
• Clean criminal record
• Alert, polite and firm with the public
• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers
• Physically fit for foot patrols

• Previous experience at a similar site type
• Experience on estate access apps or biometric readers

• Provident fund contributions
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
• Stable long-term site contracts
