Patrol Officer (Warehouse Perimeter)

The gate at an office tower in Stellenbosch is the first line of safety, and you would be standing at it. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

The work is in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Call the armed response or SAPS number from the call list when needed
• Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events
• Watch for loitering, broken fencing and open doors during night patrols
• Open and close boom gates for residents, deliveries and contractors

• Speaks and writes basic English
• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• Clean criminal record

• A Code 8 licence for vehicle patrols
• Experience on estate access apps or biometric readers
• Firefighting or evacuation training

• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
• Provident fund contributions
• Paid night-shift allowance under the security sector rules
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
