Payroll and HR Administrator (SME)

You'll run weekly and monthly payrolls for a retail head office in Isando, from clock data to bank file. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at a retail head office in Isando. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Process garnishee orders and third-party deductions
• Submit monthly EMP201 returns and pay PAYE, UIF and SDL on eFiling
• Release the salary bank file for authorisation
• Submit Compensation Fund returns of earnings
• Capture new hires, terminations, increases and deductions before cut-off
• Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports

• Reliable with deadlines that cannot move
• At least 2 years of full-function payroll
• Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
• Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations

• Experience with medical aid and pension fund reconciliations
• Knowledge of employment equity and WSP reporting
• Bargaining council wage experience, such as MIBCO or the security sector
