Payroll Clerk (Sage 300 People, Weekly Paid Staff) – Immediate Start

People get paid right and on time because of you at a payroll bureau in Mthatha. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The work is in Mthatha, Eastern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Submit Compensation Fund returns of earnings
• Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports
• Release the salary bank file for authorisation
• Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours
• Submit monthly EMP201 returns and pay PAYE, UIF and SDL on eFiling

• Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
• You keep salary information private under POPIA
• Reliable with deadlines that cannot move
• Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma
• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations
• Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
