Payroll Clerk (Sage 300 People, Weekly Paid Staff)

You'll run weekly and monthly payrolls for a security services company in Prospecton, from clock data to bank file. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a security services company in Prospecton. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Calculate leave pay, notice pay and final pay under the BCEA
• Submit Compensation Fund returns of earnings
• Capture new hires, terminations, increases and deductions before cut-off
• Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports
• Compile bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates
• Declare UIF on uFiling and help staff with UI-19 forms
• Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours

• Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
• Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma
• Reliable with deadlines that cannot move
• You keep salary information private under POPIA
• At least 2 years of full-function payroll
• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations

• Knowledge of employment equity and WSP reporting
• SAPP registration as a Payroll Practitioner
• Experience with medical aid and pension fund reconciliations
