Personal Loans Sales Consultant (Branch) – Entry Level

You'll be based at a personal loans branch in Midrand. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Save policies when clients call to cancel.
• Read the FAIS disclosures and record client consent on every call.
• Explain waiting periods, exclusions and premiums in plain terms.
• Visit clients at home or work for field advice appointments.
• Follow up on quotes sent and chase missing documents.
• Track daily sales, conversions and lapse rates on the team board.
• Call warm leads from the dialler and qualify them in the first minute.

• Matric, including Maths or Maths Literacy
• You are comfortable earning a large part of your pay in commission
• Honest selling, even when the easy sale is the wrong one
• Six months or more of sales, telesales or call centre work

• Completed class of business training for short-term or long-term insurance
• A qualification such as a Higher Certificate in Financial Planning
• An existing client book (for field roles)

• Basic salary plus uncapped commission
