Pharmacy Delivery Driver (Scooter) – Permanent

For a courier depot in Kariega, fast and careful deliveries keep customers coming back. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

Home base is a courier depot on the Kariega side of Eastern Cape.

• Phone customers when the address is hard to find
• Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
• Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
• Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
• Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area

• Good sense of direction and map reading
• At least 1 year of driving experience
• Clean driving record and no criminal record
• Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
• Able to work Saturdays

• PrDP for staff shuttle posts
• Knowledge of the city's industrial areas

• Per-drop incentive on busy days
• Fuel card for work trips
• Branded uniform and rain gear
• Company van, bakkie or scooter provided

• Say you have a smartphone and know delivery apps. Most courier jobs now run through an app and training time is short.
• For owner-driver jobs, list your vehicle's make, year and load size. They hire the vehicle as much as the driver.
