Pharmacy Delivery Driver (Scooter)

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Richards Bay for a pharmacy chain, all day, all over town. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

This post is Richards Bay-based, with most of your time spent at a pharmacy chain. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
• Phone customers when the address is hard to find
• Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
• Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
• Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
• Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook

• At least 1 year of driving experience
• Able to work Saturdays
• Polite with customers at the door
• Good sense of direction and map reading
• Clean driving record and no criminal record

• Previous courier or last-mile experience
• PrDP for staff shuttle posts
• Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts

• Fuel card for work trips
• Branded uniform and rain gear
• Company van, bakkie or scooter provided
• Per-drop incentive on busy days

• If you have a clean driving record, write "no accidents, no traffic fines" plainly. It is what recruiters look for.
• Say you have a smartphone and know delivery apps. Most courier jobs now run through an app and training time is short.
