Pick & Pack Hand (Online Orders)

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a frozen-food distribution centre in Ballito, and nobody minds if it's your first job. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Location: Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns

• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)

• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner
• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays

• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
