Pick & Pack Hand (Online Orders)

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a pharmaceutical warehouse in East London, and nobody minds if it's your first job. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Home base is a pharmaceutical warehouse on the East London side of Eastern Cape. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes

• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves

• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate
• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner

• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
