Job Description

Keep throughput up and the plant stable at the gold processing plant near Polokwane. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Home base is a gold processing plant on the Polokwane side of Limpopo. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What your day looks like

Start up, run and shut down crushers, screens and conveyors in sequence
Adjust reagent dosing and air flow to hit recovery targets
Call maintenance for bearing noise, belt damage or leaks
Log plant readings and downtime on the shift log
Check pumps, cyclones and thickeners on the plant walk

Must-haves

Comfortable around noise, dust and heights while wearing full PPE
Grade 12 with mathematics and physical science
At least 1 year operating a processing plant
Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays

Helpful, not essential

Control room experience
Forklift or overhead crane licence
N4 to N6 or a diploma in Extraction Metallurgy
