Wash equipment after spraying and store chemicals safely
Plant rows straight, using GPS guidance where the tractor has it

You'll need

Safe driver who respects chemical and machine safety
Can read job cards and spray instructions
At least 2 years driving tractors on a farm
Willing to work long hours in planting and harvest seasons

Helpful, not essential

Combine harvester experience
Experience with GPS guidance or auto-steer

On offer

Harvest bonus at season end
Overtime paid during planting and harvest
Training on new machinery

How to apply

Check you meet the must-haves first; recruiters filter on those before anything else.
Keep copies of these ready to send: tractor or spray course certificates, a farmer's reference letter with phone number plus ID copy and any driver's licence you hold.
Fill in the short form below with your name and a phone number you actually answer.
Keep your phone on. Shortlisted applicants are contacted by call, SMS or WhatsApp within 6 working days.

Your application joins the How2Apply talent pool for this role, and we put shortlisted people forward to employers hiring in and around Bloemfontein.

How2Apply never charges you to apply, for training, for uniforms or for a "placement fee". If anyone asks you for money, it is a scam.

Before you hit apply

A reference from a previous farmer is gold. Ask for it before you leave any farm job.
Mention GPS or auto-steer if you have used it. Modern grain farms struggle to find operators who know it.
