Job Description

If you know tractors, a fruit orchard near Mahikeng has steady work for you. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

This post is in Mahikeng (North West). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What your day looks like

Clear firebreaks and grade farm roads when needed
Wash equipment after spraying and store chemicals safely
Report breakdowns and help the mechanic with repairs
Check oil, water, tyres and grease points before starting
Plant rows straight, using GPS guidance where the tractor has it
Mix and apply sprays exactly as the farm manager prescribes

What you need

Available to live on or near the farm
Reliable and sober on duty
Can read job cards and spray instructions
Willing to work long hours in planting and harvest seasons
Safe driver who respects chemical and machine safety

On offer

Overtime paid during planting and harvest
