Job Description

Know your way around SANS 10254 and a geyser drip tray? The insurance repair contractor in Brackenfell wants to hear from you. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Home base is an insurance repair contractor on the Brackenfell side of Western Cape. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

What your day looks like

Issue plumbing Certificates of Compliance for completed installations
Service booster pumps, pressure tanks and water storage tanks
Fit toilets, basins, showers and mixers to the client's chosen finishes
Install and repair soil and waste pipes to SANS 10400 Part P
Work on the emergency call-out roster for after-hours bursts

You'll need

PIRB registration as a Licensed Plumber, so you can issue plumbing CoCs
At least 3 years as a qualified plumber, including geyser replacements
Code 08 licence and a clean driving record
Working knowledge of SANS 10252-1 and SANS 10254
