Plumber for Geyser Installations

Plumbing work that keeps Mbombela homes and buildings running: this insurance repair contractor needs a trade-tested plumber. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll report in Mbombela. Relocation is not covered for this one.

• Take photos and complete the insurer's claim report after each geyser job
• Trace hidden leaks using pressure tests and moisture readings
• Clear blocked drains with a rodding machine and inspect lines with a drain camera
• Work on the emergency call-out roster for after-hours bursts
• Fit toilets, basins, showers and mixers to the client's chosen finishes
• Install copper, PEX and PVC piping for new bathrooms and kitchens

• At least 3 years as a qualified plumber, including geyser replacements
• Code 08 licence and a clean driving record
• Working knowledge of SANS 10252-1 and SANS 10254
• Fit enough to lift a 150-litre geyser with a helper and work in tight roof spaces

• SAQCC Gas registration for LPG installations
• Experience with insurance repair work and claim paperwork
• Drain camera and high-pressure jetting experience

• Call-out bonus for every after-hours job you complete
