Job Description

Every wall and slab on this shopping centre renovation in Soweto needs labourers, and the crew needs one more. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll report in Soweto. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Set up barriers, cones and signs around open trenches
Pass tools and materials to the plumber or electrician as needed
Mix concrete and mortar by hand or with a small mixer
Sign the daily safety talk register before work starts
Compact soil and layer bedding sand with a plate compactor

Must-haves

Physically strong and fit for outdoor work in all weather
A clean record is preferred for some government sites
You take safety rules seriously and wear full PPE
Willing to start early, often at 06:30
Grade 8 or higher

What you get
