Practice Manager (Dental Practice)

You'll keep the front of a radiology group in Middelburg (MP) organised so the doctors can focus on patients. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

The work is in Middelburg (MP), Mpumalanga, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Check medical aid membership and benefits before each consultation
• Book appointments and manage the doctor's diary on the practice software
• Chase short payments with medical schemes and patients
• Submit claims electronically and work through the rejection report daily
• Take payments, issue receipts and balance the cash-up at close
• Answer the phones and send clinical questions to the right nurse or doctor
• Request pre-authorisation for scans, procedures and admissions

• Friendly on the phone and firm about outstanding accounts
• Experience on a practice system such as GoodX, Elixir, Medinol or Healthbridge
• Matric
• You keep patient information private, every time
• Confident with Excel and email

• Bookkeeping basics or Pastel knowledge for practice accounts
• Experience with hospital case management and pre-auth
