Property Maintenance Handyman (Rental Portfolio)

Every day is different here: small repairs, painting and planned maintenance at the rental property portfolio in Welkom. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

The work is in Welkom, Free State, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Change globes, fluorescent tubes and plug covers (no DB work)
• Lay and repair floor tiles and re-grout wet areas
• Work through the maintenance log each morning and prioritise urgent requests
• Replace tap washers, cisterns, shower heads and toilet seats
• Service pool pumps, gate motors and garage door openers

• Available for the occasional weekend emergency
• Honest and trusted to work inside occupied units
• Basic painting, tiling, plumbing and carpentry skills
• Grade 10 at least; matric is a plus
• Your own tools are a plus, but safe tool handling is a must
• Code 08 licence to run errands to the hardware store

• Basic first aid certificate
• Gate motor and intercom repair skills

• Uniform and safety boots supplied
• Meals on duty at hotel sites
• On-site accommodation at some estates
