Applying, step by step

Check you meet the must-haves first; recruiters filter on those before anything else.
Get these ready, because shortlisted people are asked for them straight away: reference from a crew leader or forester, chainsaw or firefighting certificates plus ID copy (certified).
Fill in the short form below with your name and a phone number you actually answer.
Keep your phone on. Shortlisted applicants are contacted by call, SMS or WhatsApp within 8 working days.

Your application joins the How2Apply talent pool for this role, and we put shortlisted people forward to employers hiring in and around White River.

How2Apply never charges you to apply, for training, for uniforms or for a "placement fee". If anyone asks you for money, it is a scam.

Before you hit apply

Mention fire fighting experience, even as a volunteer. Fire protection crews look for it before winter.
If you have a chainsaw ticket, put it at the top. Certified operators earn more and are hired first.
