Job Description

Housekeeping keeps a serviced apartment block in Roodepoort running quietly in the background. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

You'll be based at a serviced apartment block in Roodepoort. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What you'll actually do

Clean bathrooms, showers and toilets with the correct colour-coded cloths.
Inspect rooms against the checklist before release to front office.
Do evening turndowns with chocolates and curtain closing.
Vacuum, mop and dust rooms from top to bottom.
Report broken fittings, leaks and damage to maintenance.

What you need

Weekend and public holiday work
Grade 10 or higher
You work neatly and notice a hair on a pillow
You can finish around 14 rooms in a shift
Hotel, guesthouse or domestic cleaning experience
Honest and trustworthy around guest belongings

Nice if you have

A supervisor course or time spent running a floor
Basic first aid certificate

On offer

Staff transport from nearby townships for early shifts
Uniform and protective gloves supplied
Meals on duty
