Public Area Cleaner (Hotel)

Guests at a game lodge in Ermelo will never meet you, but they will judge the stay by your work. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a game lodge on the Ermelo side of Mpumalanga. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Keep your trolley stocked and neat before each shift
• Clean lobby, lifts and public toilets through the day
• Vacuum, dust and check the minibar in each room
• Clean bathrooms, replace towels and restock guest toiletries
• Log lost property with the guest's room number and date

• Well groomed
• Available on weekends, holidays and in peak season
• Honest, since you work in guests' rooms alone
• Physically able to push trolleys and turn mattresses

• Speaking a foreign language for tourist guests
• Experience with industrial laundry machines
• Previous hotel or guesthouse housekeeping experience

• Staff accommodation at remote lodges
• Meals on duty from the staff kitchen
• Uniform supplied and laundered

• Mention seasonal availability for December and Easter. Coastal and lodge properties hire heavily before those peaks.
