Qualified Motor Mechanic (Passenger Vehicle Dealership) – Immediate Start

You'll service, diagnose and repair cars in a busy fleet maintenance workshop in Klerksdorp. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at a fleet maintenance workshop in Klerksdorp. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Road test vehicles before and after repairs
• Replace clutches, brake pads, discs, shocks and timing belts
• Diagnose engine, ABS and airbag faults with an OBD-II diagnostic scanner
• Carry out scheduled services to the manufacturer's checklist and interval
• Coach the apprentice on your bay through basic services

• Confident with diagnostic scan tools and wiring diagrams
• Your own basic toolbox
• Able to meet flat-rate or sold-hour targets
• Motor mechanic trade test certificate (Red Seal) or occupational certificate at NQF 4

• Brand-specific training certificates from a manufacturer academy
• Air-conditioning regas experience with SAQCC Gas registration
• High-voltage hybrid or EV safety training

• Productivity bonus on sold hours above target
• Pay at or above the motor industry bargaining council rates
• Tool allowance or tool insurance
• Manufacturer training courses paid by the dealer
