Rapid Response Officer (Farm Security) – Permanent

Serious work for a serious officer: armed response across a farming district in Cape Town CBD. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

The work is in Cape Town CBD, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
• Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
• Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook
• Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
• Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
• Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
• Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs

• PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
• Clean criminal record and no pending cases
• At least 2 years in guarding or response
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts

• Knowledge of the local streets and sectors
• First-aid Level 2 or 3

• Response vehicle and firearm provided
• Danger and night allowances
• Regular refresher shooting practice
