Job Description

When a panic button goes off in a mixed-use neighbourhood in eMalahleni, you are the one who arrives first. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is eMalahleni-based, with most of your time spent at a mixed-use neighbourhood.

What you'll actually do

Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates

You'll need

At least 2 years in guarding or response
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
Clean criminal record and no pending cases
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
Calm under pressure and physically fit

On offer

Response vehicle and firearm provided
Regular refresher shooting practice
