Job Description

Clients in a mixed-use neighbourhood in Germiston pay for fast response, and this crew delivers it. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

Location: Germiston, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

The work, day to day

Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates

Must-haves

SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Clean criminal record and no pending cases
Calm under pressure and physically fit
