Job Description

Clients in a mixed-use neighbourhood in Mbombela pay for fast response, and this crew delivers it. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

The work is in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What your day looks like

Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses

You'll need

Clean criminal record and no pending cases
Calm under pressure and physically fit
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)

Extra points for

SAPS, SANDF or reservist background
Advanced driving course
