Job Description

Clients in a farming district in Montague Gardens pay for fast response, and this crew delivers it. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Home base is a farming district on the Montague Gardens side of Western Cape. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

The work, day to day

Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over

Must-haves

PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
Calm under pressure and physically fit
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Clean criminal record and no pending cases
