Job Description

You'll catch shoplifting and stock losses at a retail distribution centre in Worcester before they cost jobs. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a retail distribution centre in Worcester. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What you'll actually do

Walk the floor in plain clothes and watch for shoplifting behaviour
Check receiving bay deliveries against invoices and seal numbers
Help with stock counts and point out loss hot-spots
Detain suspects lawfully and call SAPS, then write a statement
Search staff bags at exit points according to store policy

You'll need

Available for retail hours including month-end weekends
PSIRA registration, Grade C at least
Discreet, observant and honest
Able to handle confrontation calmly
Good report writing
Knowledge of lawful arrest and search under the Criminal Procedure Act
