Receiving Clerk Assistant (Goods Inwards) – Immediate Start

Delivery days start early in Brackenfell, and a cement and brick yard needs you on the bay before the trucks roll. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Location: Brackenfell, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Ride with the driver and carry goods into customers' premises
• Load trucks from the load sheet in drop order, last stop first
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Get proof-of-delivery notes signed and stamped at each drop
• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit

• No criminal record
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
• Friendly with customers at the door
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Honest; you will be handling customer goods and cash-on-delivery slips
• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note

• Past work as a driver's assistant
• A Code 8 or Code 10 licence (a route to becoming a driver)

• Route-completion incentives in busy months
• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Help to get your own licence through the company later
• Meal allowance on long-route days
