Reception Security Officer (Office Tower)

The gate at an office tower in Brits is the first line of safety, and you would be standing at it. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Home base is an office tower on the Brits side of North West.

• Call the armed response or SAPS number from the call list when needed
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Patrol the perimeter on a set route and scan checkpoint tags
• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty
• Search vehicles and bags leaving the site when company policy requires it
• Write every incident and shift change in the occurrence book (OB)

• Alert, polite and firm with the public
• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date
• Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers
• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred

• A Code 8 licence for vehicle patrols
• Previous experience at a similar site type
• Experience on estate access apps or biometric readers

• Stable long-term site contracts
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
• Chance to be upgraded to Grade B with training
• Provident fund contributions
