Job Description

Hit your collection targets at this debt collection agency in Pretoria East and your commission shows it. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Home base is a debt collection agency on the Pretoria East side of Gauteng.

What your day looks like

Send written arrangements by SMS or email straight after each call.
Report daily on rands collected, contacts made and arrangements set.
Keep calls within the National Credit Act and the Debt Collectors Act rules.
Track broken promises-to-pay and follow up within 48 hours.
Dial through your arrears book on the auto-dialler and confirm the debtor's identity.

What you need

Target-driven and comfortable with commission
At least 6 months in collections, sales or a call centre
Matric
Good with numbers, dates and payment calculations
Registered, or willing to register, with the Council for Debt Collectors
Clear credit and criminal record

Helpful, not essential

Experience on a collections system such as Debtmaster or a dialler platform
Knowledge of the NCA and prescription rules
