Restaurant Waitron (Steakhouse) – Experienced

This is a floor job at a busy mall coffee shop in Klerksdorp where your tips follow your service. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

Home base is a busy mall coffee shop on the Klerksdorp side of North West. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Clear, wipe and reset tables fast during the Friday and Sunday rush.
• Greet guests, seat them and hand over menus within a minute of arrival.
• Mix cocktails, pour draught and serve shooters to spec at the bar.
• Explain specials, allergens and wine pairings in plain words.
• Refuse service to anyone under 18 or visibly drunk, as the Liquor Act requires.
• Carry plates to the right seat without auctioning food at the table.
• Check back two minutes after mains land and fix problems on the spot.

• You speak clear English and can chat easily with guests
• Happy to work nights, weekends and public holidays
• At least 6 months of waitering, bar or coffee shop experience
• Neat grooming and a friendly manner under pressure
• Quick with basic maths and card machines
• You can stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift

• Late-shift lift home within a set radius
• Uniform supplied and laundered
• You keep your own tips, paid out daily or weekly

• Walk in with your CV between 2pm and 4pm when managers have time, not during lunch or dinner service.
• Put the names of the restaurants you worked at and your average covers per shift at the top of your CV.
