Returns Processing Hand

Pick it right, pack it neat, send it out: that's the job at a spares and hardware warehouse in Kathu. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Location: Kathu, Northern Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes

• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season

• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate
• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner

• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
