Returns Processing Hand

Pick it right, pack it neat, send it out: that's the job at an online grocery fulfilment hub in Kimberley. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

The work is in Kimberley, Northern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off

• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• South African ID or a valid work permit

• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate

• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
