Returns Processing Hand

You'll keep a busy frozen-food distribution centre in Pinetown stocked, picked and moving out on time. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll be based at a frozen-food distribution centre in Pinetown. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker

• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• South African ID or a valid work permit

• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment
• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• A valid forklift or reach truck certificate

• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied

• If you have done any stock counts, packing or even shelf work before, list it first. It shows you already know how to handle stock.
• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
