Every order that leaves this spares and hardware warehouse in Welkom passes through your hands first. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is a spares and hardware warehouse on the Welkom side of Free State. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight

• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts

• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season

• Arrive for the interview in closed shoes. Some warehouses walk you through the floor straight away.
• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
