Every order that leaves this building-supplies depot in Welkom passes through your hands first. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

The site is in Welkom; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns

• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)

• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• Living within walking or taxi distance of the warehouse
• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays
