Room Attendant (Hotel Housekeeping) – Experienced

Every room at this bush lodge in Cape Town CBD should feel brand new, and you'll make that happen. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

You'll report in Cape Town CBD. Relocation is not covered for this one.

• Clean bathrooms, showers and toilets with the correct colour-coded cloths.
• Hand in lost property with a written log entry.
• Strip beds, make them up with fresh linen and square the corners.
• Vacuum, mop and dust rooms from top to bottom.
• Restock minibars, amenities and tea trays and note what was used.
• Inspect rooms against the checklist before release to front office.

• Hotel, guesthouse or domestic cleaning experience
• Honest and trustworthy around guest belongings
• You work neatly and notice a hair on a pillow
• Weekend and public holiday work
• Grade 10 or higher

• Chemical handling training
• Basic first aid certificate

• Meals on duty
• Staff transport from nearby townships for early shifts
• Monthly award for best room scores

• Write how many rooms per shift you managed at your last job; supervisors look for that number.
