Room Attendant (Hotel Housekeeping)

You'll clean and set up guest rooms at a bush lodge in Isando to a checklist standard. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

You'll be based at a bush lodge in Isando. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Hand in lost property with a written log entry.
• Clean bathrooms, showers and toilets with the correct colour-coded cloths.
• Wash, dry and press linen and table cloths in the laundry.
• Inspect rooms against the checklist before release to front office.
• Do evening turndowns with chocolates and curtain closing.
• Update room status on the housekeeping app or board after each room.
• Report broken fittings, leaks and damage to maintenance.

• You can finish around 14 rooms in a shift
• Hotel, guesthouse or domestic cleaning experience
• You work neatly and notice a hair on a pillow

• Basic first aid certificate
• A supervisor course or time spent running a floor
• Chemical handling training
