Job Description

Housekeeping keeps a serviced apartment block in Johannesburg CBD running quietly in the background. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

This post is in Johannesburg CBD (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

The work, day to day

Vacuum, mop and dust rooms from top to bottom.
Strip beds, make them up with fresh linen and square the corners.
Restock minibars, amenities and tea trays and note what was used.
Hand in lost property with a written log entry.
Update room status on the housekeeping app or board after each room.
Clean bathrooms, showers and toilets with the correct colour-coded cloths.

You'll need

Hotel, guesthouse or domestic cleaning experience
Honest and trustworthy around guest belongings
Weekend and public holiday work
Grade 10 or higher
