Job Description

This business internet provider in Pretoria West wants someone who can open doors and keep accounts for years. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is a business internet provider on the Pretoria West side of Gauteng. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

The work, day to day

Prospect new companies by phone, LinkedIn and walk-ins in business parks.
Visit key accounts monthly and check how the service is going.
Chase overdue accounts with the credit department before they grow.
Log every lead, meeting and deal stage in the CRM.
Book and run discovery meetings with buyers and procurement managers.

Must-haves

You close deals, not just collect meetings
Solid presentation and negotiation skills
2 or more years of business-to-business sales with a proven record
Resilient enough to handle long sales cycles and rejection
Confident with Excel, Outlook and a CRM
Valid driver's licence and your own reliable car

Helpful, not essential

Salesforce, Zoho or HubSpot CRM experience
A technical trade or engineering background for sales engineer roles
An existing network of buyers in your sector
