Sales Consultant (Business Fibre & Connectivity)

This courier and freight company in Stellenbosch wants someone who can open doors and keep accounts for years. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a courier and freight company on the Stellenbosch side of Western Cape. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Work with operations to hand over new clients smoothly.
• Chase overdue accounts with the credit department before they grow.
• Visit key accounts monthly and check how the service is going.
• Book and run discovery meetings with buyers and procurement managers.
• Build quotes and proposals with correct pricing and margins.
• Forecast monthly sales and report pipeline value each Monday.

• Matric plus a sales, marketing or technical qualification
• You close deals, not just collect meetings
• Solid presentation and negotiation skills
• Resilient enough to handle long sales cycles and rejection
• Confident with Excel, Outlook and a CRM
• 2 or more years of business-to-business sales with a proven record

• An existing network of buyers in your sector
• A technical trade or engineering background for sales engineer roles

• Annual incentive trip for top performers

• Basic plus monthly commission on gross profit

• Prepare a 30-60-90 day plan for the territory and bring it to the second interview.
