Job Description

You'll cover a route of stores around Alberton, selling in stock and fixing shelves as you go. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is Alberton-based, with most of your time spent at a snack and confectionery wholesaler. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

The work, day to day

Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.

Must-haves

Matric
A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
You can work to daily and monthly volume targets

Helpful, not essential

Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
Speaking two or more local languages
