Sales Rep (Beverages, Code 08)

Shelves sell the product, and at this personal care brand you'll keep them full, neat and priced right. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll be based at a personal care brand in Bloemfontein. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.

• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets

• A sales or marketing certificate
• Existing relationships with independent retailers
• Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position

• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
• Branded uniform and safety boots
• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Cellphone and data allowance
