Sales Rep (Beverages, Code 08) – Permanent

Out on the road for a pet food manufacturer in Kempton Park, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

This post is Kempton Park-based, with most of your time spent at a pet food manufacturer.

• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.
• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.

• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• Matric
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area

• Product samples and staff pricing
• Branded uniform and safety boots
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts

• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
• Name the areas you know and the store types you have serviced (supermarket chains, independents, spazas) in your CV summary.
