Job Description

You'll cover a route of stores around Newcastle, selling in stock and fixing shelves as you go. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

The work is in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What you'll actually do

Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.

You'll need

Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles

Speaking two or more local languages
Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
Existing relationships with independent retailers
