Job Description

You'll cover a route of stores around Somerset West, selling in stock and fixing shelves as you go. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

The site is in Somerset West; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

The work, day to day

Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.

What you need

You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
Matric

Extra points for

Speaking two or more local languages
Existing relationships with independent retailers
